Aptitude: MNC ka pehla gate

MNC placement season hai aur sabse pehla round hota hai aptitude. Agar ye clear nahi hua toh technical round ka sawal bhi nahi aayega. Chalo samajhte hain ye round hota kya hai aur kaise crack karein.

Aptitude round kyun hota hai?

WHAT

Aptitude round ek screening test hai jo companies lagati hain taaki hundreds of candidates mein se top 20-30% filter ho jaayein. Ismein quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, aur sometimes verbal ability aata hai.

WHEN

Campus placement ke pehle round mein, off-campus drives mein, aur competitive exams jaise GATE, CAT mein bhi. TCS NQT, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture � sab mein ye hota hai.

WHERE

Online (TCS iON, AMCAT, Cocubes) ya offline (college campus). Usually MCQ hota hai � 4 options, 1 correct. Negative marking bhi hoti hai kuch exams mein.

Reality Check: TCS NQT mein 80 questions hote hain 80 minutes mein. Matlab har sawal ke liye sirf 1 minute. Agar tumhe 30 seconds zyada lage ek sawal pe, toh doosre sawal ka time kam ho jaayega. Isliye speed + accuracy dono chahiye.

Preparation strategy

Aptitude prepare karna ek marathon hai, sprint nahi. Daily 1-2 hours do, consistent raho. Ye 4-week plan follow karo:

Shortcuts kyun zaroori hain?

Normal method se solve karoge toh ek sawal mein 2-3 minutes lagenge. Shortcut se 15-20 seconds mein ho jaayega. 80 questions hain � har question pe 1 minute bhi zyada laga toh paper complete nahi hoga.

# Example: 25% of 480 kaise nikalte ho?

# Normal method:
# 25/100 � 480 = 120 (slow)

# Shortcut: 25% = 1/4
# 480 / 4 = 120 (fast!)

# Another example: 37.5% of 800
# 37.5% = 3/8
# 800 � 3/8 = 300 (done in 5 seconds!)

Golden Rule: Har percentage ko fraction mein convert karna seekho. 10% = 1/10, 12.5% = 1/8, 20% = 1/5, 25% = 1/4, 33.33% = 1/3, 50% = 1/2. Ye fractions yaad karo � exam mein 30% time bachega.

Exam mindset set karo

Aptitude exam mein do cheezein sabse important hain � time management aur question selection. Har sawal solve karna zaroori nahi hai. Jo aata hai, pehle karo. Jo nahi aata, baad mein ya chhodo.

# Exam ka flow:
# 1. Pura paper 2 minutes mein karo
# 2. Jo easy lagta hai � pehle karo (1 min each)
# 3. Jo medium lagta hai � baad mein karo (1.5 min each)
# 4. Jo hard lagta hai � chhodo ya last mein karo
# 5. Negative marking hai toh guess mat karo

# Target: 80 questions mein se 50-60 solve karo accurately
# Accuracy target: 85%+

Exercise

Question: Agar ek exam mein 100 questions hain aur tumhe 70% score karna hai, toh kitne questions sahi karne honge✓ Sirf number daalo.

Question: TCS NQT mein 80 questions hain 80 minutes mein. Agar tumhe har question pe average 45 seconds lagta hai, toh kitne questions solve ho paayenge✓ Sirf number daalo.

Question: Agar 50 questions hain aur tumhe 80% accuracy chahiye, toh kitne questions attempt karne chahiye (maan lo sab sahi ho jaayein)✓ Sirf number daalo.

Question: Agar tumhari accuracy 75% hai aur tum 40 questions attempt karte ho, toh kitne questions approximately sahi honge✓ Sirf number daalo.

Common mistakes

Sab karna zaroori hai: Nahi hai. Jo aata hai wo karo, jo nahi aata uspe time waste mat karo. Negative marking hai toh guess mat karo.
Speed pehle, accuracy baad mein: Galat hai. Accuracy pehle, speed baad mein. Pehle correct karo, phir fast bano.
Sirf formulas yaad karna: Formulas yaad karo but shortcuts bhi seekho. Formula lagaoge toh 2 minute lagega, shortcut se 15 seconds mein ho jaayega.
Mock test nahi dena: Mock test sabse important hai. Without mock, exam hall mein panic ho jaayega. Weekly 1 mock do.
