Resume Engineering: ATS + XYZ

Resume tumhara first impression hai. ATS (Applicant Tracking System) se pass hona zaroori hai � warna resume kabhi interviewer ke haath mein nahi jaayega. XYZ formula use karo aur resume killer banao.

ATS kya hai?

WHAT

ATS ek software hai jo companies resume filter karne ke liye use karti hain. Agar tumhara resume ATS se pass nahi hua, toh interviewer dekhenge bhi nahi. 75% resumes ATS mein reject ho jaate hain.

WHEN

Online application ke baad ATS resume scan karta hai. Sirf top 20-25% resumes recruiter tak pahunchte hain. ATS-friendly hona compulsory hai.

WHERE

TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture � sab bade companies ATS use karti hain. Referral se apply karoge toh ATS bypass ho sakta hai, but resume phir bhi strong hona chahiye.

ATS Rules: Tables, columns, graphics, headers/footers � ATS inhe read nahi kar paata. Simple single-column format use karo. Standard fonts use karo (Arial, Calibri). Keywords job description se match karo.

XYZ Formula

Google ka resume formula hai XYZ � har bullet point mein ye teen cheezein honi chahiye:

Resume mein "responsible for" mat likho � action verbs se start karo:

# Quantifiers use karo:

# Example with action verb + quantifier:

Pro Tip: Har bullet point pehle action verb se shuru ho. "Responsible for", "Worked on", "Helped in" � ye sab weak hain. "Developed", "Optimized", "Led" � ye strong hain.

Common mistakes

Graphics aur tables use karna: ATS inhe read nahi kar paata. Simple single-column format use karo.
Keywords match nahi karna: Job description se keywords uthao aur resume mein daalo. ATS sirf keywords match karta hai.
Fake achievements likhna: Ek bhi lie pakdi gayi toh reject. Honest raho, but highlight karo.
"References available on request" likhna: Ye outdated hai. Space waste hota hai. Mat likho.
